Zoning Systems are mechanical dampers installed in your heating and air systems ductwork to open and close air flow to specific areas of rooms to be heated or cooled.
This might be sound complicated, but you already have zoning in your home for electricity and water. Let's think of zoning like light switches and water faucets. When we enter our homes, we don't turn on one switch and every light in the house comes on. We use individual switches to light rooms we want, when we want.
Water is the same way. We do not turn on one main water faucet for all the water to come on. We use sinks, tubs, showers and water spigots. All of these devices are considered "zoning." We can do the same with your heating and air system. Zoning Can Save Up to 30% Off Your Heating and Cooling Costs! |
